This seems like a decent board. Can anyone make me feel less alone? I'm a straight female nerd. I look decent, but I'm a size 14. Apparently men-type folks think that's excessive. So *nuts* to men who don't like titties.

I am a super educated WASPy sort. I make good money. I don't believe in santajesuseasterchickenbullshit. I'm not real child oriented- have no plans to breed. Are there any child-free gentlemen in the SouthEast who like computer science, reading, and blowing shit up? My project for next weekend is building a Tesla coil in my backyard.

It would be rad if A Nice Gentleman Who Likes Science would help me!

And I will abide by the majority of your answers. I am definitely, no question, for sure, child free. I made that decision when I was in my teens, and have now been shooting blanks for 31 years. I also used to be an athiest. Completely. Now, in the past few years, I have seen some things that tell me without a doubt that there is something out there that I don't understand. I don't believe it's Jesus, or any other diety promoted by mainstream religions. But things happened to me that were unexplainable other than there being something out there. So am I an athiest, or at least enough of one to participate here? I read all the posts here, and you seem like an interesting group of people.

Hi guys!

I am new here. My name is Linda. I recently was on the website called Moral Childfree at http://moralchildfree.tripod.com. It helped me solidify my views on being childfree. There is way too much mother worship in this culture and I really don't think that it is fair for them to get so much credit for the "good" that they do but get off scot free when it comes to the bad (i.e. death, inherited defects) that they set their children up for.

Take care!

At any rate, I manage a discussion board for Liberal Childfree Atheists (www.selfishheathens.com) and am in the process of compiling a list of other resources for our members. Do you mind if we place a link to your little corner of The Internets in our list?

Thanks so much in advance, and if you are so inclined do stop by our site for a look-see. We have a pretty active community comprised of other CF atheists all over the U.S. and would love to have any of you guys join us.
